This season, we’re asking you to Gift Your Best to Give Your Best by helping us fund postage, transport and keeping our lights on. Your support means more than a parcel of clothes; it means restoring dignity, providing warmth and empowering choice.
And, demand is high! Items are snapped up as quickly as they’re uploaded or put onto the shop floor. Help us reach our £10,000 goal to keep our much-needed community-led service running during the coldest and most critical months.

Pass the parcel
Postage is what turns a generous donation into something someone can actually wear. Without it, clothes will never reach the wardrobes that need them.
For the price of a coffee (£3.50!), your donation helps move parcels - and people - so our community can access the warm outfits they need without added costs. You help fund the bits nobody sees on Instagram: the packaging, the postage labels, the parcel tape, the travel cards - the things that turn a gifted coat into a warm school run.
We cover postage from donors (those who would donate items but can’t afford postage), partners and Bestie Bins across the UK - including those in remote areas. And for those who can visit our Islington shop, GYB supports transport costs, removing another barrier for people living in clothing poverty.

Clothing poverty doesn’t just mean “no new outfit this month” - it means having almost nothing to choose from, especially in winter or for important moments like job interviews. When you’re living in clothing poverty, the world often decides for you. GYB flips that script.
Our free online platform and physical shop offer a real shopping experience - where women who are refugees or seeking asylum can browse, scroll and choose styles they like. Not a bin bag of “take it or leave it.” A browse, a scroll, this feels like me.
